Time Capsule

What a wonderful group of people! I love you all!!!!!
What a great day!!!!! It was so wonderful to see the students, parents and Mr Bill who was a volunteer in our classroom for 5 years. The kids were so grown up but still so much fun to be around - I feel very lucky to of been their teacher for 3 years. We visited our old classroom, read the letters they had written to theirselves and distributed old pictures and newspaper articles I have saved for 10 years. I was gald I had the foresight to make copies of the letters as a sidewalk was built over the area where we buried the time capsule. We tried digging under the sidewalk but the principal was getting a little nervous about her new walkway and had us stop.
Class it was great seeing you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the hunt goes on!!!

Back in Broken Arrow, Ok

We are back at Lake Darnell where Jay recovered a couple of years ago. I'm looking forward to meeting with my class of 2000 to dig up our time capsule.
Every morning this happy couple paraded their young in front of our MH just to drive Lulu crazy

Lulu is watching this turkey take a dirt bath - this was a daily thing also.

Jay doing what he does best!!!!

The good times continue

Yesterday several of us drove over to Luckenbach for a great evening of music and fun. Howie jumped right in and began playing the drums, what a treat! It was our first trip to Luckenbach but Greg showed us the ropes. About every 10 years or so Jay will decide to smoke a cigar, I decided I needed to help him. Not So Good!
Today Jay, Lulu and I went to the corvette show in downtown Boerne, lots of pretty cars, even had a 55 TBird and a 40 Willys. Later the ladies and Bob went back downtown to do some shopping, made a stop at the Chrismas Shoppe, had root beer floats, and laughed until my sides hurt. Ended the day with everyone getting together for a chili dinner and then some hand and foot lessons. I may be able to play at the next rally if I practice. A good time was had by all and some are leaving tomorrow but others are waiting until Monday so we will just continue to enjoy each other. Life is Good!
